IRSAP says no to violence against women

On Friday 12 January, at the suggestion of the iGreen Committee, IRSAP organised two training sessions to raise awareness among workers on the issue of violence against women.

The training session was led by Dr Silvia Baraldi, Member of the CEMR (Council of European Municipalities and Regions) Committee for Gender Equality and Speaker at the 67th UN Conference on the Status of Women.

Following Dr Baraldi's speech, the Polesine Anti-Violence Centre spoke about its work in the area, focusing on the psychological and economic aspects of gender-based violence.

We are very proud that we have been able to bring this issue into the daily life of our factories and offices.

Once again, IRSAP is demonstrating its commitment to the local community and social issues by promoting a training event to raise awareness and combat these culturally based phenomena in the workplace.

We thank all those who took part in the course , listening, discussing and debating.
